WHY I WANT TO TUTOR
In high school, tutoring others provided me with an outlet to both help other students in classes that they might have needed support in as well as giving me confidence that I knew the material well enough to pass it on to other people.
I think it's important for both myself and others that what's learned in classes isn't simply remembered for an exam and immediately forgotten, but ingrained in memory to become second-nature to apply in the future.
I think it would be easiest for me to convey this in smaller groups of people so each person I work with gets enough individualized support to retain what they're learning without feeling left out or intimidated.
